A plane crashed south of Fort McMurray yesterday afternoon.

Wood Buffalo RCMP say both the pilot and co-pilot survived without any injuries.

It happened at about 3:45 PM 18 nautical miles south of the city.

The plane had been flying from Fort McMurray to Saskatchewan when it had engine troubles.

The pilot soft landed the plane in a marsh; both people in the plane were air-lifted out.
