20-year old charged with drug trafficking

A 20 year old man has been charged with drug trafficking after crashing his car in Stroud Bay on Friday.
RCMP say he hit a fence and was knocked unconscious, but recovered in hospital.
While that was happening, police say they found 62 grams of cocaine, worth more than five thousand dollars, and eighteen hundred dollars cash in the car.
Timothy Payne is facing trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime charges; he’s due in court next week.
