New polls show lots of Albertans plan to vote strategically on Monday – voting for a party that isn’t their favourite, but has a better chance of winning.
“We’re seeing 22% of voters saying that they are planning to vote to block somebody else,” said Ian Large from Leger Marketing. “So it’s a fairly significant number when you’re looking at 1 in 5 voters saying ‘I’m voting in a way that is designed to directly affect the outcome of the election.'”
The Wildrose lead over the PCs has shrunk in recent days, partially because of Liberal and NDP supporters moving over to the Tories.
