Energy talks continue with Prentice and U.S. Governor

A top prospect to run for the White House is sitting down to dicuss energy and pipelines.

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie is meeting with Premier Jim Prentice in Calgary today.

He’ll fly to Ottawa tomorrow to meet with the prime minister.

The Republican is a strong supporter of the Keystone XL pipeline, and it’s expected that he’ll focus on the project and energy production.

The pair are holding a news conference this morning.
