RMWB announces free summer programming for families

The Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo has announced it will be offering free, family-oriented summer programming that is set to kick off on Tuesday, July 5 and will run through until Aug. 27.

“We’re excited to get our annual summer programs started,” said project lead, Roxanne Andras. “They are great opportunities for parents to get out in the sun with their families and enjoy everything from crafts and sports to educational activities.”

Running from Tuesday until Saturday every week until the end of August, summer programs are targeted at tiny tots to teens, providing a fun learning environment and an excellent way to make new friends. In addition to the regular programming, two standalone events, Movie at the Snye and Summertime Shindig, will run in August.
