Westjet has announced it is adding up to five flights a week between Fort McMurray and Edmonton when it rolls out its winter schedule in October.
There will be up to 25 flights a week, up from the current 20.
As well, the flight from Edmonton to Palm Springs will be daily through the winter months.
Westjet said that in total this winter, they plan to operate more than 635 daily flights to more than 95 destinations.
