You’re invited to get involved this fall in recreation, sports, community programs and more.
On Saturday, September 3 Community Registration Day, presented by Syncrude, will take place at MacDonald Island.
You can register starting this Friday to take part in the trade-show style event. The deadline for registration is August 26 with a $25 fee for non-powered booths and a $30 fee for those with power.
Everyone is welcome to attend the Community Registration Day where they can interact with community social profit organizations and groups, the non- and not-for-profit sector and minor sports representatives.The event provides an opportunity for residents to become engaged through program registration and volunteer opportunities, among other avenues.
The schedule for 2016 Community Registration Day presented by Syncrude is:
- 8:00am – 8:45am – Networking Breakfast presented by Suncor and hosted by FuseSocial (open to registered organizations)
- 8:45am – 9:30am – Keynote Speaker presented by FuseSocial (open to registered organizations)
- 10:00am – 2:00pm- Community Registration Day exhibition, Nexen Energy Field House
Registration for organizations wishing to participate in Community Registration Day begins on Friday, July 29. The deadline for registration is August 26. Cost for exhibitors is $25 for non-powered booths and $30 for powered booths. Interested organizations can register for Community Registration Day and the Networking Breakfast at ONErec.ca.
