B2Gold Corp. (TSX:BTO). Miner. Down 10 cents, or 2.59 per cent, to $3.76 on 11.5-million shares.

Yamana Gold Inc. (TSX:YRI). Miner. Unchanged at $5.76 on 9.4-million shares.

Kinross Gold Corp. (TSX:K). Miner. Down one cent, or 0.18 per cent, to $5.60 on 7.1-million shares. Kinross says it has suspended operations at a mine in Chile ahead of schedule because of a dispute involving water use. The Toronto-based miner says 300 workers at the Maricunga mine will be laid off as a result of the decision.

First Quantum Minerals Ltd. (TSX:FM). Miner. Down eight cents, or 0.74 per cent, to $10.76 on 5.6-million shares.

Baytex Energy Corp. (TSX:BTE). Oil and gas. Down three cents, or 0.47 per cent, to $6.38 on 5.6-million shares.

Iamgold Corp. (TSX:IMG). Miner. Down seven cents, or 1.36 per cent, to $5.09 on 5.4-million shares.

BlackBerry Ltd. (TSX:BB). Wireless communications. Up six cents, or 0.58 per cent, to $10.38 on 652,565 shares. BlackBerry announced a plan to restructure its debt and cut its interest costs. Trading in BlackBerry shares had been halted pending the announcement. Under the plan, the company will redeem about US$1.245 billion in six-per-cent unsecured convertible debentures, which can be converted into BlackBerry shares at a price of US$10 per share. BlackBerry also said it has signed a deal with Fairfax Financial Holdings Ltd. and other institutional investors to raise US$605 million in new 3.75-per-cent unsecured convertible debentures.
