Twin Butte Energy Ltd. (TSX:TBE). Oil and gas. Down 1.5 cents, or 37.50 per cent, to 2.5 cents on 8.5-million shares.

Teck Resources Ltd. (TSX:TCK.B). Miner. Up $1.66, or eight per cent, to $22.41 on 5.2-million shares.

Baytex Energy Corp. (TSX:BTE). Oil and gas. Down 15 cents, or 2.35 per cent, to $6.23 on 4.5-million shares.

Ivanhoe Mines Ltd. (TSX:IVN). Miner. Up 24 cents, or 14.37 per cent, to $1.91 on 3.9-million shares.

First Quantum Minerals Ltd. (TSX:FM). Miner. Up two cents, or 0.19 per cent, to $10.78 on 3.9-million shares.

B2Gold Corp. (TSX:BTO). Miner. Down one cent, or 0.27 per cent, to $3.75 on 3.6-million shares.

Companies reporting major news:

Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc. (TSX:ATD.B). Convenience stores. Down 30 cents, or 0.44 per cent, to $67.63 on 1.1-million shares. Alimentation Couche-Tard has an agreement to buy 53 stores in Louisiana, primarily in the Baton Rouge market, for an undisclosed price. The stores currently operate under the Cracker Barrel banner. All but one of them sell fuel under the Shell, Chevron or Cracker Barrel brand names, and 12 include quick-service restaurants. The purchase is being handled through Couche-Tard’s Circle K division, which is purchasing the locations from American General Investments, LLC and North American Financial Group, LLC.

High Arctic Energy Services Inc. (TSX:HWO). Oil and gas. Up three cents, or 0.89 per cent, to $3.39 on 143,427 shares. The company has struck an agreement to buy the production services division of Tervita Corp., an environmental services company, for $42.8 million in cash. The deal would see High Arctic Energy Services acquire Tervita’s fleet of 68 service rigs and related support equipment, as well as seven operational bases in Alberta.
