The Municipality will be hosting two separate “Here for You” information sessions on October 20th.
There is a specific information session for Draper Road residents, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Syncrude Sport and Wellness Centre, residents can ask questions and hear recovery updates on their neighbourhood.
The other session, down at Shell Place from 4 to 8 p.m; will be about the general recovery of the community, focusing on the five pillars of the campaign plan, which are — People, Environment, Economy, Rebuild and Mitigation.
There will be two presentations on that topic, the first at 4:30 and second at 6 p.m; both will be live streamed on the Municipality’s Facebook page.
The RMWB hosts these sessions to inform residents about ongoing recovery efforts and give them the opportunity to ask their questions in person to member of the Wood Buffalo Recovery Committee (WBRC), Recovery Task Force, subject matter experts and various stakeholders.
