The 2017 Budget deliberations have been rescheduled to a later date.
Following last night’s Council meeting, Council decided to delay budget sessions which were originally scheduled for Thursday, Friday and Saturday of this week.
The aim is to schedule them for a more accessible time so the public can better participate in the process.
They will be holding some of the sessions in the evening to accommodate for more public delegations to speak on the proposed 2017 Operating and Capital Budgets.
Details on the rescheduled sessions will be shared with the public once they’re finalized.
