The Fort McMurray Catholic School division will be hosting Positive Parenting Programs for parents who have concerns about their child’s behavior after the wildfire.

Each seminar will range from 1.5- two hours and will feature common social, and emotional reactions after natural disasters.

It has been proven, that reactions vary from child to child. Parents will be able to ask questions about how to help their kids, what the next steps may be and tip sheets will be available to take home.

The Triple P seminar has been proven to be one of the most effective evidence-based parenting programs in the world, backed by more than 30 years of ongoing research.

Every seminar will be free of charge, and open to anyone who feels that they would benefit from it.

The first Triple P seminar will be on Tuesday, February 21 from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at St. Gabriel School.
