Peewee AA

The equation is quite simple for the Peewee AA Barons this weekend as they welcome the Whitecourt Wolverines to the Frank Lacroix Arena.

The Barons enter play this weekend just six points behind the Grande Prairie Minhas Bros Trucking Knights for the fourth spot in the Black division.

To add just a little more importance to this weekend’s set against the Wolverines, the Barons will hit the road next weekend for a pair of games which includes one game against the Bros Trucking Knights.

The Barons (8-15-3) come into the game losers of three straight after winning their first two games of the month, and will surely be looking for the same offense they have receivedĀ from Brett Boucher all season.

Boucher has 48 points in 26 games. Puck drop for the Barons and Wolverines is set for 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, February, 18 and Sunday, February 19, at 8:00 a.m., both at the Frank Lacroix Arena.

Midget AA

Coming off a win their last time out, the Midget AA Barons (5-16-7) are also getting set to host the Wolverines who sit atop the Bouchier division with a very good (20-6-1) record.

The Barons have just one regulation loss since the beginning of January but have struggled to find ways to get the full two points in multiple games.

Patrick Polistena continues to lead the Barons with 28 points through 28 games.

Puck drop for the Barons and Wolverines will follow the peewee games on both days.
