Kids between the ages of 4 and 11 are invited to join the Fort McMurray Mini Rugby League.

The league which was just recently started up will allow kids who have or haven’t played the game before to engage in physical activity while also competing with other kids.

“It’s a great opportunity for parents who have multiple kids within this age range.” Said Ryan LeBer. ” You don’t need to drop them off at different venues, they can all play together and have a great time.”

With the exception of Easter Sunday, Mini Rugby Fort McMurray will be holding Mini Rugby Camp at Shell Place on April 23 and 30.

No experience is needed to join the Fort McMurray Mini Rugby League which will be a no-contact, flag touch league with the first game scheduled for May 14.

“Rugby is just a great game, you learn to be dependable, and it’s a great way to make some friends.” Said Leber. ” It was just introduced into the Olympics, so this is a gateway and stepping stone if you have some dreams of playing on the big stage and it’s a lot of fun.”
