Syncrude is planning to give away $10-thousand to a worthy cause, but they are hoping residents can help them decide.

At the Spring Trade Show and Market on April 28-30, people can stop by Syncrude’s booth to vote for one non-profit to receive this donation.

The organizations are the Multicultural Association of Wood Buffalo, Canadian Mental Health Association, Norfort Gymnastics Club or Big Brothers and Big Sisters.

“These groups represent just a small percentage of the organizations that have a big impact on our community. We are pleased to be able to show our support through this donation and year-round through the Good Neighbours program,” says Kara Flynn, Syncrude’s Vice President, Government and Public Affairs.

Through the Community Investment Program Syncrude distributes over $6-million to local organization and initiatives.
