The Fort McMurray Roller Derby League is excited to host the Nuclear Free Roller Derby on Saturday, June 3.

The women’s team from Fort McMurray will take on the women’s team from Red Deer with the first whistle scheduled for 7:00 p.m. and the doors opening at 6:00 p.m. at MacDonald Island Park, Arena 1.

Snacks, merchandise, and alcohol will be available for purchase, and all fans are encouraged to head down to the arena early to get a front row seat (if you are 18 and older) and to see player introductions.

Although the front row is restricted to fans 18 years of age and older, this is an event for all ages, and kids under the age of 10 get in free.

The Fort McMurray Roller Derby is still looking for volunteers for the upcoming game on June 3, and if you’re interested, you can email games@fmrollerderby.com. The league will sign off for school volunteer credits.

Tickets are available now for just $15.00 at the Shell Place Box Office, or from a league member. Tickets are also available online for $17.00-$19.00.
