Temporary waste bins are now located in Abasand, Beacon Hill, Waterways, Wood Buffalo and Stone Creek as residents move back into their homes in those areas.

Residential waste pick-up will not happen in these areas until nearly 80 percent of the rebuild is complete in the areas.

The bins are located in a fenced-in area in each of the areas, and residents can access the bins from 7:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. daily and Construction Management Teams will be supervising the bins.

The bins are emptied as required. On-site security will be in effect to assure contractors and builders do not use the bins.

All recycling should be taken to one of the seven Municipality Recycling Depots.

Additional information about the temporary waste bins, and when regular residential waste pick-up will resume, is available by calling the PULSE Line at 780-743-7000.

If you witness a contractor, and or builder using the bins, you are also asked to call the PULSE Line or email recovery@rmwb.ca.
