Wood Buffalo RCMP are protecting all members of our community.
Just before 8 a.m. on Sunday June 25, RCMP members were called to the intersection of Ash Way and Lodgepole Way to rescue ducklings that fell into a sewer.
When they arrived on scene they found the mother duck on the ground and could hear the ducklings below.
Officers removed the manhole cover, climbed into the sewer to save the ducklings.
All seven were saved and returned to their mother.
