Hammerstone Corporation has contributed $50,000 to the Northern Lights Health Foundation’s (NLHF) Gratitude Campaign.

On June 28, Chief Operating Officer of Hammerstone, Roger Downham presented the NLHF with the cheque and said it is very important to them as a company to give back, particularly to health services.

“As a member of the Wood Buffalo community, we understand the importance of timely access to world class health care facilities,” said Downham.

“We all need health care at various points in our lives and this transformational initiative of the Northern Lights Health Foundation will play a key role in ensuring the ongoing vitality of the Wood Buffalo community.”

The donation will go toward the Gratitude Campaign’s greatest need.

The Gratitude Campaign is the most ambitious in the foundation’s history. It is comprised of eight projects: Minimally Invasive Surgical Suites, the Multi-purpose Clinic, Palliative Care, Community Clinics, Health Centre Lobby, the Healthy Schools Initiative, Continuing Care and Early Investments Project.
