UPDATE: Man turns himself in after arrest warrant issued

The second suspect in an alleged stabbing that happened in Thickwood has turned himself in.

Early in the morning on July 9th Wood Buffalo RCMP were called to Sitka Drive where a man was stabbed and seriously injured.

An arrest warrant was issued for Corwin Benjamin who police believe is a suspect in the incident.

On July 13th Benjamin turned himself in, he was arrested and charged with aggravated assault.

RCMP members also arrested and charged a 25-year-old man with aggravated assault.

Both men are scheduled to appear in court on July 24th.

The victim remains in stable condition at the hospital.
