Environment Canada has placed Fort McMurray-Fort McKay under a heat warning.
Maximum temperatures are expected to reach 29 degrees or above until Sunday, Aug. 13.
You are being advised to protect yourself from the heat by taking frequent breaks, spending time indoors and drinking plenty of water.
It is important to watch for symptoms of heat stroke or heat exhaustion, such as body temperature, lack of sweat, confusion, fainting and unconsciousness.
Animals, children and elderly people should not be left in warm vehicles.
