Enhanced voter accessibility for 2017 election

The 2017 municipal election will have enhanced voter accessibility.

The municipality is pleased to offer the AutoMARK™ ballot-marking system.

The system provides independence to voters who are blind, visually impaired, or have a disability or condition that makes it difficult to traditionally mark a ballot.

The service is in addition to a number of options to increase accessibility in this year’s election.

This service will be available at the following polling stations:

Jubilee Centre (9909 Franklin Ave.) on Saturday, Oct. 7, Wednesday Oct. 11, Thursday, Oct. 12 and Saturday, Oct. 14

Oil Sands Discovery Centre (515 MacKenzie Blvd.) & Holy Trinity High School (230 Powder Dr.) on Monday, Oct. 16
