Signatures Shows Ltd. is bringing its 37 years of experience to Fort McMurray.

The Mosaic Craft Show will be the brand’s 10th show in Alberta and 20th overall.

Founder and President of Signatures Shows Ltd., John Ladouceur, says Fort McMurray was an obvious addition.

“There wasn’t a show of the type we do existing there, so I flew up and I looked at the facility and I went ‘wow, this is beautiful’.”

Each year, Signatures Shows, accepts over 2,500 exhibitors for it’s 20 shows across the country, choosing the top 100 Canadian artists, artisans and designers for each location.

“We don’t permit any commercially manufactured or offshore goods. It has to be made by Canadian artisan crafts people, they have to be involved in every aspect of the production.”

Choosing the finest talents of the Canadian handmade community from across Canada creates a unique and memorable experience.

“When we do something, we have to do it right or we won’t do it because we have a brand that’s known within the artist community. So, we make a long term commitment, and invest heavily into the show, and choose the best exhibitors we can find.”

The show will feature a great mix of products from fashion and accessories to home decor and gourmet food.

The Mosaic Craft Show is the third stop of 13-show tour. It will take place in the Nexen Field House at MacDondald Island Park from Oct. 20 to 22.
