A $400,000 donation will ensure youth have a place to go when they are in need.

Inter Pipeline gifted the money to Woods Homes so they could purchase a permanent placeĀ for the Stepping Stones program, which includes a shelter for homeless children.

“We are honoured that Inter Pipeline has chosen to support Wood’s Homes in securing a permanent home for Stepping Stones,” said Jane Matheson, CEO of Woods Homes. “But most importantly, this generosity allows us to build a lasting legacy for the youth and families of Fort McMurray who find themselves in crisis, needing help to repair family disruption and in search of a place to stay.”

Woods Homes has been renting the house since 2009.
