BSH Home Appliances Corporation and Health Canada have recalled approximately 61,000 dishwashers that were sold between January 2013 and May 2015.
Brands included in the recall include Bosch®, Thermador®, Gaggenau®, Kenmore®, and Jenn-Air®.
The supplied power cord of the dishwashers can overheat, creating a fire hazard.
There have been no reports of property damage or injury in Canada.
Model and serial numbers can be found inside the dishwasher either on the top of the inner door panel or on the right side of the panel.
If your dishwasher is affected by the recall, you should stop using the dishwasher immediately and contact the Safety Recall Hotline(1-888-965-5813) for a free inspection and repair.
