In 2016, the first annual Stuff-A-Bus event raised donations for the Wood Buffalo Food Bank where six schools and 11 local businesses helped to Stuff-A-Bus, bringing in a total of 12,217 pounds of donations.

This year, the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo (RMWB) Transit will be supporting Santas Anonymous through their second annual Stuff-A-Bus toy drive.

Santas Anonymous is a student led initiative at Father Mercredi High School that helps make Christmas a little more merry and bright by providing presents and food to families in need.

Local schools and businesses are encouraged to participate by collecting donations of new toys for Santas Anonymous. Participants can set up a bin or hamper and canvass staff and students to make a donation.

Registration for the events runs from Monday, Nov. 20 until Wednesday, Dec. 6, and can be done by emailing transit@RMWB.ca

On Thursday, Dec. 7, a Municipal transit bus will visit registered participants to collect the donations along with Country 93.3 and 97.9 ROCK who will be helping spread the Christmas cheer.
