Alberta Agriculture and Forestry will be burning brush piles on the west side of Fort MacKay, east of the CNRL Horizon Way Road, over the next several weeks.

Smoke may be visible from the roadways and the community.

If you are having respiratory issues from the smoke, please contact Alberta Healthlink or dial 811.

Now that fire season is over you no longer need a permit to burn within the forest protected area but Alberta Agriculture and Forest urge people to use caution with their winter burning.
