Busy weekend for Santas Anonymous

With packing day on Friday, Dec. 22, Santas Anonymous will be hosting a number of events in the community to help gather toy and monetary donations to fill their hampers.

Every year Santas Anonymous puts together hundreds of hampers, filled with presents and food, and delivers them to families across the RMWB so everyone can have happy holidays.

The annual pancake breakfast will be held at Father Mercredi High School on Thursday, Dec. 14 from 7 a.m. till 8:30 a.m. where a minimum $10 donation will get you breakfast.

The miracle marathon will be taking place from Thursday, Dec. 14 till Friday, Dec. 15. Rogers radio stations, Country 93.3 and 97.9 Rock will be at Save on Food in Stoneycreek and Thickwood collecting toys, monetary donations and gift cards and spreading some Christmas cheer.

Santas Anonymous is also in need of volunteers to deliver hampers on Friday, Dec. 22. Delivery starts at 11 a.m. and will finish around 4 p.m.

Drivers must have their own vehicle and be accompanied by with a passenger, over the age of 18, to help deliver the hampers.
