The Fort McMurray Giants have been giving back to the community this holiday season.
During the miracle marathon in support of Santas Anonymous, team president, Dutche Iannetti, donated $500 in gift cards and six bundles of flex passes for Giants home games.
The Giants also granted two of their fans their Christmas wish. Two senior residents of Fort McMurray wished for season tickets for 2018 after being season ticket holders the last two years.
The Giants made their wish come true and fitted the couple with brand new Giants jerseys.
Iannetti told MyMcMurray why giving back to the community is so important to the organization.
“We have to show the community that we are here year around, not just the two months of the season,” said Iannetti.
Giants tickets for the 2018 season are on sale now and available at the Shell Place box office and online.
