The load limit on the Fort Chipewyan Winter Road has increased to 27,500 kg.
You are asked to be aware and obey all posted signage, crews are continuing to construct and perform maintenance on the winter road.
As well, mulching work in the right of way from the South Gate to the Firebag Bridge is ongoing.
There are no regular services like road patrol, gas stations or cell phone coverage when travelling on the winter road, please be prepared for emergencies.
