The Wood Buffalo RCMP are looking for anyone who may have more information about a fatal collision on Highway 63 North.

Mounties say on Jan. 2, three kilometres north of Fort McKay around 5:04 p.m. a white Ford F150 pick-up truck heading south collided with a wide load travelling north.

The driver of the pick-up died on scene, while the driver of the wide load hasn’t reported any injuries to the RCMP.

If you witnessed the pick-up driving south or the wide load carrying vehicle equipment headed north, you’re asked to call the RCMP and speak to Cpl. Gary LeBlanc at 780-788-4062.

The collision is still under investigation and all factors are being considered.
