Girls Inc. of Northern Alberta have announced their ninth woman of inspiration nominee.
Carmen Wells has been nominated for being a positive role model for Indigenous and Métis women.
Wells is a Regulatory Affairs Officer for the Fort McMurray Métis, she has been with the Métis Local for six years,she shows a genuine passion for Métis rights and the protection of these rights.
Girls Inc. of Northern Alberta and Syncrude will honour Wells and 11 other nominees at the Women of Inspiration Celebration on June 16, 2018.
