The Keyano Huskies Men’s Volleyball team is third best in the country.

The team came back to defeat the Camosun Chargers and win bronze at the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Championship.

The Huskies won the opening set 25-16, drop the second and third sets 22-25 and 11-25 respectively, but rebounded to take the fourth 28-26 and the fifth 15-13.

Head coach Keegan Kuhr praised his team, saying that the bronze medal was something they could be very proud of.

“Everyone stepped up and had big games and for the guys leaving the program after their fifth year or guys graduating from their programs, they get to leave with a national medal.”

This is Keyano’s third CCAA medal. In 2015/2016, the Huskies captured silver in soccer and Lisa Collins earned a bronze in cross-country in 2003/2004.
