The number of homes sold in the region continued to increase through March.
Fort McMurray REALTORS® reported 49 single family detached homes sold for the average price of $568,739, compared to 45 homes sold at $575,069 during March of 2017.
Currently there are 300 single detached homes on the market, including 118 new listings from March.
The number of townhouses sold increased significantly from 5 in March 2017 to 13, while the sale of condos nearly halved from 16 to 9.
The report also said that the decrease in homes for sale or coming on the market has helped to keep the average price in check.
It’s also suggested that spring will be busy for both buyers and sellers.
