The Wood Buffalo RCMP believe a house fire in Timberlea may have been purposely set.
On Tuesday around 7 p.m., the Fort McMurray Fire Department (FMFD) responded to a house fire on Barber Drive, no injuries were reported but there was significant damage to the house.
In a press release, the RCMP wrote that their preliminary investigation suggest the fire is suspicious in nature but is still under investigation.
The RCMP are asking the public for any information or video surveillance of the area between 5-7 p.m.
