Tim Horton's added to Keyano's Elements Cafeteria

Keyano College will upgrade their Tim Horton’s self-serve kiosk to a full-service Tim Horton’s outlet in time for the new school year.

The new outlet, available thanks to the re-signed contract with the college’s current food service provider Chartwells, will provide full beverage and bakery items to students, staff and the community.

Keyano will receive a commission on the outlet sales and the contract also provides partnership with Fort McMurray school districts for Chartwells to provide food service to Westwood High School, Ecole McTavish High School, Holy Trinity High School and Father Mercredi.

The addition is expected to be open by fall and will employ at least three people.

Currently the team is working to develop architectural drawings and construction will be put out for competitive bids later in May.

Other improvements to the college’s food service include an improved pizza station and salad bar.
