The latest count in Census 2018 represents approximately 63 per cent of the total dwellings in Wood Buffalo as 50,000 people were counted over the May long weekend.

These latest numbers ensure an estimated $10 million in provincial and federal grant money for the community.

Residents have until June 30 to complete the census and can participate online, at the municipal office or through a census taker at their door.

For more information, you can visit the municipality’s website or call PULSE at 780-743-7000.
