Fort McMurray’s mixed gender roller derby team is gearing up to take on three other Alberta teams this weekend.
The Crude Assassins are hosting the first mixed gender roller derby tournament in Fort McMurray on June 9th and June 10th. They have two games on Saturday at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. and one game on Sunday at 12 p.m.
There are four games on Saturday and two games on Sunday at MacDonald Island Park, CNRL Arena 1.
There will be snacks, merchandise and alcohol available at the event.
Tickets are $20 for Saturday and $10 for Sunday; they can be purchased at the door or online.
Children 10 and under are free.
