The Alberta Junior Hockey has released the schedule for the upcoming 2018-2019 season.
All 16 AJHL teams will once again play a 60 game schedule with 29 home and away dates and two games being played at the annual AJHL Showcase in Camrose at the end of September.
The Fort McMurray Oil Barons will open the season at home against the Grande Prairie Storm on Friday September 14th and will host the Storm again on the 15th.
Friday and Saturday nights will be the Oil Barons primary home dates with 12 Friday games at the Casman Centre and ten on Saturday’s. The MOB will play two Sunday afternoon home games this season as well as two Monday afternoon games on Thanksgiving and Family Day. The MOB will then play two Tuesday games and one on Wednesday.
The Barons will also play two exhibition games at the Casman Centre on September 7th and 8th against the Lloydminster Bobcats.
The MOB will finish the regular season on the road against the reigning AJHL Champions the Spruce Grove Saints on Sunday March 3rd.

The MOB are coming off a second straight 40 win season that saw them finish in second place in the North Division with a 42-13-5 record and 89 points.
