4 new plays including Les Miz coming to Keyano

4 new plays are coming to Keyano Theatre Company as part of the 2013-14 Drama Series season.

The series will begin with Boeing Boeing, written by French playwright Marc Camoletti, being shown in October.

Catalyst Theatre returns in November with a musical called Vigilante, by Jonathan Christenson and Bretta Gerecke.

It’s a story of a centuries old Irish feud that led to one of Canada’s strangest, most compelling and enduring stories of revenge and murder.

Because of huge involvement in Hometown the Musical and Calendar Girls it will be producing Les Misérables in February.

It is the world’s longest running musical, winner of 96 international awards, and seen in 42 countries by over 60 million people.

The company says that it was inspired to bring the scale of these productions because of the involvement in Hometown the Musical and Calendar Girls.

The season closes in late April 2014 with Ira Levin’s Deathtrap, a show that holds the record for the longest running comedy-thriller on Broadway.

Auditions for Boeing-Boeing will be scheduled for late spring with details about the Les Misérables audition process to be announced in the coming months.

Subscriptions for the 2013-2014 season go on sale April 2nd.
