What is widely known as America’s greatest rock and roll band will take the stage at Shell Place presented this summer as part of their Blue Army Tour.
The Regional Recreation Corporation (RRC) has announced that rock legends Aerosmith presented in party by Rock 97.9, will be the first major act to open Shell Place this summer on Sunday, Jul. 19, 2015.
RRC made the announcement this afternoon at MacDonald Island Park with the help of lead guitarist Joe Perry via video.
They have 25 gold, 18 platinum, and 12 multi-platinum albums, along with one diamond album, four gold singles, and one platinum digital single.
The band will hit Fort McMurray after concert dates in Kelowna, and Victoria, B.C.
Aerosmith released their last album titled ‘Music from Another Dimension’ on Nov. 6, 2012 under the Columbia Records label.
The band has won four GRAMMYs, eight American Music Awards, six Billboard Awards, and 12 MTV Video MusicAwards.
Tickets go on sale Friday, Feb. 27, 2015 at 10 a.m, they will be available online or at Guest Services at the Suncor Community Leisure Centre.
Prices range from $89 to $199.
