AHS shows improvement in delivering health care

The Alberta government says it is making some progress in improving the delivery of health services.
Alberta Health Services says access to cataract surgeries and radiation therapy has improved.
Emergency department wait times are also down.
The government agency says that in December, 81 per cent of patients were being discharged within four hours — their target is 84 per cent.
