Alberta Symphony Orchestra coming to Keyano Theatre Saturday

For the very first time the Alberta Symphony Orchestra is coming to Fort McMurray.

Based in Edmonton, the Alberta Symphony Orchestra Society is a new non-profit organization that is planning to found a new professional symphony orchestra in Alberta with the goal of touring around the Province performing both in major and smaller cities to support a long-term growth in the culture sector of classical music and music education.

Pianist & conductor Emilio De Mercato brings the beautiful music of Mozart, Beethoven and Brahms to the Keyano Theatre this Saturday.

The ensemble will also perform a selection of songs from operatic to modern and traditional.

Fort McMurray’s own soprano, Cara Brown will be performing. Brown has performed across Western Canada, inspiring audiences with her distinct voice and compelling honesty.

The show gets underway at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $35 for adults, $20 for seniors/students and children under 12 are free.
