A big name in show business says that the Keystone XL pipeline would be a threat to the natural environment of America’s heartland.
Oscar-winning actor and director-turned activist Robert Redford is calling on the Obama administration to stop the controversial pipeline, because it would carry what he calls the “dirtiest oil on the planet” from Alberta to US Gulf Coast refineries.
The US State Department has the final say on the project, as the pipeline would travel through six states.
