The big opening of the Anzac recreation centre has been pushed back a week, until March 8.
The Regional Rec Corporation says the switch is out of respect for a long-time resident and Elder that recently passed away.
The funeral is taking place that Saurday morning in Anzac.
The rec centre will still be open throughout the week, starting Monday at noon.
