Baumgartner arrested, charged with murder

The suspect in a deadly shooting at the University of Alberta was arrested on Saturday, while trying to cross the BC-Washington State border.

Travis Baumgartner was arrested without incident south of Abbotsford, in the town of Lynden. Police issued warrants for his arrest after the shooting early Friday, which claimed the lives of three guards with G4S security.

Another guard remains in hospital. The 21-year-old is facing three counts of first-degree murder, and one count of attempted murder.
