Beyonce is set to perform at Super Bown XLVII

The Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, LA, will be the site for Super Bowl XLVII on Sunday, February 3rd and according to various reports, we now know who will be performing during the renowned Super Bowl Halftime Show 2013.

According to various media outlets, Beyonce Giselle Knowles-Carter, simply known as Beyonce, will entertain millions as she’s slated as the featured performer during halftime of the biggest spectacle in American sports.

As many may recall, Beyonce sang the National Anthem during the 2004 Super Bowl in her hometown of Houston, Texas.

Even though it is unknown as to who will join Mrs. Jay-Z on stage at Super Bowl XLVII, the 31-year-old diva joins a long list of past performers that include: Madonna, The Black Eyes Peas, The Who, Bruce Springsteen and many others.

It has been also announced that Pepsi will sponsor the Super Bowl Halftime Show 2013, but the theme of the show and its producer remain unknown.

Although the supporting acts that will accompany the 16-time Grammy Award winner have yet to be revealed, sources speculate that a potential Destiny’s Child reunion could be in order.

Other 2013 Super Bowl Halftime Show rumors include: A Solange Knowles cameo, a duet with Beyonce’s husband Jay-Z, the debut of a new song, and even a New Orleans tribute with Frank Ocean.
