As a part of the Keyano College Global Address Speaker Series, residents got to learn more about the City Centre Area Redevelopment Plan.
Carol Theberge from the RMWB says that when it comes to some big plans to build a vivacious downtown core, they’re hoping to get started soon. The first reading of the plan will be before council in January.
Theberge, along with private developer Ron Taylor, made the presentation at Keyano last night.
Plans include redeveloping the Snye, and building a downtown arena and performance centre.
