New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg says he thinks his city is safe even though a terror threat was received by U-S intelligence on Wednesday night.

Officials say the threat is credible and specific, but unconfirmed. It involves al-Qaida using a car bomb against tunnels or bridges in New York or Washington over the next few days to coincide with the 10th anniversary of the 9-11 attacks.

Mayor Bloomberg says he will be taking the subway to work this morning, just like he did yesterday.
