Borealis Park is set to be fully restored in the next few months.
Both the spray park and the swing sets are set to be back up ready for use at the end of the month.
As well, the fencing is to be restored by the end of July, and all landscaping by the end of the summer.
Part of the park was closed for bridge construction last year, a project eventually scrapped by council during budget deliberations.
At next week’s meeting, council will hear a funding request for renovations to the nearby Haxton Centre.
